It's that time of year...

People are getting their bikes into riding shape again after a long slumber, and that's awesome. It also means that the forum is starting to crank back up to full throttle with all kinds of questions and all kinds of new members who made some great winter buys and probably picked up their first bike. :rawk:

I'll use this platform to give an overall welcome to all of our new members and a hearty pat-on-the-back to those of us who have hung around and stayed active through the colder months. You core guys know who you are. You're the best. (Nothing though for you losers who live in the warmer climates where it's always a riding paradise... There are no hills, it's always 75 degrees on a clear day, the waves are always perfect, the fish are always biting, and the women wear bikinis all year long. You guys suck. :neener: )

Everyone remember to keep the rubber side down. And don't forget to share your riding adventures with us.

Welcome to Spring!

Yes - but the downside is that some of 'em are real dogs----barf, barf.

I'm sure they are sweet looking but I doubt they look as healthy as some of our outdoors gals here. There is a difference between lying in the sun and sand or climbing mountains and kayaking.
This little wide spot in the road(Squamish B.C.) is Canada's recreation capital and anything you can think of can happen here.

aww, Im thinking about parking her up soon, getting abit too cold for my liking. Although, if I dont get my Van sorted soon, Ill have to start riding her full time again. That damn metal cancers taking it tole of the thing. The warrant of fitness guys thought I was pulling their leg taking her in. :/

Auckland weather doesnt get so bad that you _cant_ ride, it can just be rather unpleasant for the unseasoned rider.

You mean the bike is rusting out? Where are you getting the most corrosion?

oh no, haha. My van. Mitsi L300, plagued with rust. The ZX has aly frame and the GZ just has surface rust on the chrome, from living a majority of its life out side.
