Great choice for an upgrade. Not too big and not too small. Time for that 1st oil change and filter now. Enjoy and post some opinions about the bike after a few rides.

Is it RED ???

You won't be disappointed.
Keep the idle speed up where it belongs; that will make it easier to get used to the different gearing of the 4 speed.
Don't go out in traffic until you DO get used to the different clutch feel.
Like the GZ, you will probably need to keep a little choke ON until it warms up.
Unlike the GZ (and a lot of other bikes), you can shift down to 1st just a little earlier because of the higher gearing.
In addition to the other routine maintenance stuff, put some B12 in the gas.

I'll save the bad news for later !!

Re: selling the gz250

Becca, try this site. Mustang Seats. They ain't cheap, but they are comfy. I've had several over the years, and they are the best (IMHO).
