My GZ250 Lowered, painted, leathered and bedazzled

This is the new Miss Purdy, so named thanks to bonehead. Lowering her was quite a challenge. She now stands at 24 inches from the lowest part of the seat. We had a very limited budget so we painted her ourselves using a base coat of Ballet Slipper pink then misted with Metallic Purple and Silver. We applied about 4 coats of gloss topcoat and it tunred out bettter than I expected. I was given a large supply of leather scraps from a local factory that makes Corvette parts. I do love leather and fringe so I made nearly everything myself. I even made a matching leather backpack/purse (with fringe of course). This bike was a real challenge for me to ride and I wanted it to be unique. I believe it is. Thanks again to all who gave advice. It was truly appreciated!

Great job...

You should be very happy to ride something that you have put in so much work.

Now if we can reverse this GW thing.

Wow, very impressive work! You do great leather work and a bang up paint job + lowering job for the bike!

Sharon, you did quite a make-over to the bike. I never would have thought about a pink GZ but you have proof that it works. Well done.
