No wheelie thank goodness. The rear wheel started to spin, forward motion and then the rear stepped out to the right a bit. The 3 cylinder 2 stroke finally hooked up across the intersection while I hung on for dear life and relished the rush when the tire stopped spinning. When it hit 9000 RPM again I power shifted to 2nd with a rewarding few feet of rubber and then called it quites. I once had it up to 115 MPH indicated in 3rd with 4th and 5th to go. And no, I did not try 4th or 5th. This was the last of the old school Suzuki triples with 3 sets of points and a chain no stronger than the GZ chain. For it's time it was a great touring bike and quite economical. No valves to adjust and very frugal with 2 stroke oil. Water cooling kept it running at the right temp even on the hottest days and there wasn't even a fan on it. Awesome bike that I should have kept.
