Raising Compression?

Just wondering if anyone has tried milling the cylinder head or use a thinner gasket to raise the compression at all? The thought is that if this engine is only 9:1, it should see some decent gains is the compression was raised to like 10:1.

Any thoughts???

I dont really care if these threads are old so save it for someone who does.

If you are sitting there contemplating a thinner head gasket to make your 249cc cruiser go .0007 mph faster then I guarantee you don't have the skill to properly assemble an engine. So just forget it.
