GZ250 Fuel / Gas Cap

Well, I'm closer to finishing her up to be riden daily.


I'm needing a fuel / gas cap. EBay wants 100 bucks and dealer wants 125 bucks.

Is there any other make or model bike that their cap will fit onto the GZ?

It looks like the part numbers are
44200-38850 and
44200-12870
Cap Set, Fuel Tank

This part cross matches with
Suzuki Intruder (VS800GL) various years
Suzuki VS800 various years
Suzuki VS800GL S50
Suzuki VS750GLP various years
Suzuki VS700GLP various years
Suzuki VS700GLEF
and also Suzuki GZ125 apparently.

lists a number of applications, all either gz250, vs800 or vs750, but the vs tank caps seem to come in 2 flavors. One looks just like ours, i.e. round, while the other looks different and is shared by bigger bikes like the intruder 1400. this link shows the caps that say they match the VS800GL Intruder and look like trapezoids: http://www.2wheelpros.com/oem-parts/...8820-part.html

... and.. all that said, I didn't see anything cheaper on ebay or google. Maybe someone is still parting out?
