Can-Am Spyder?

I saw one of these things in town yesterday, very odd looking, and from what I read in this article very expensive and gets horrible gas mileage, So whats the point???

I hear the same. They also have the turning radius of a battleship. Might as well drive a car.

Yea they said on that site I think, that it gets like 20 miles to the gallon, hell I could drive certain full size trucks and get 20 miles to the gallon, probably not as fun though.

Re: Can-Am Spyder?

There was a guy in my MSF class that was driving one.

It's really just one of those toys I should think - and a 'status' thing... The guy who i saw driving it was young, and a bachalor - seemed to say "Look at my hip toys" type of attitude. Though i'm judging so who knows.

I would think - that would personally be the only reason I would drive one - is if i thought it was an awesome looking toy and had to have one just to have it.

Re: Can-Am Spyder?

Motor Week just tested the Can-Am and the Piaggio 3 wheeler. The Piaggio can be leaned like a bike and is far cheaper than the Can-Am but still not in the price range of an actual 2 wheeled bike. I have seen both up close and personal and would really like to ride the Piaggio.
