Re: Used piston

Worst case scenario: a destroyed engine. You got lucky.

Re: Used piston

This is awesome. I love updates. you should use this like a project thread and include some how-tos and stuff while you have everything apart. It would be worth it's weight in gold.

Re: Used piston

I would love to setup the how to pics, but this is my first time doing everything so I'm learning as I go. I don't want to misinform anyone cuz I'm not 100% sure of what I'm doing. :|

Re: Used piston

Just take photos and then share you experience if/when you get it running.
We won't make it official if you don't want to, but I guarantee that your experience will help someone else in the future.

Re: Used piston

So now that I connected everything I have a few issues...It won't start and the neutral light isn't coming on. I don't know if those two issues are correlated or not. I check the plug and I have spark, I know I have it in neutral because the bike moves freely back and forth. My choke cable doesn't seem to work properly, It seems jammed or something?.. I took it out and sprayed wd-40 in it but it didn't seem to fix it. Should I start with the cable first and rule that out?? A new cable maybe???
