Re: Just Me

Dude has BIG boots! Plus a hardy fellow - I think if I had taken three face plants already, I'd have put the GZ away by now.

This needs to be fixed, if it hasn't been already. It is not all that uncommon; indicates that your boots are too large at the toe (steel reinforced ??) and/or that the shifter linkage needs to be adjusted to give you more room underneath.

Have you studied the situation at all to see what you are doing wrong?
It's really pretty simple; even a PHD can do it !! :poked:

Re: Just Me

Yeap! Fixed it. 3 times. ( I am a slow learner or I just like falling on my face!!!) Took it to the shop for an oil leak..they re-adjusted back to factory and I didn't notice it. :poke2: :poke2: That brought my second fall on my pride. Adjusted again but failed to tighten the nuts and it moved back on me. I finally took the shifter loose from the back and moved it back, re-adjusted the linkage, and tighten the nuts. Seems to be working. And the boots are steel toed, U.S.A.F. issue. I also shaved off the pegs a little on the very front and very back side to help keep the boots from hanging up......So I have learned a lesson the hard way...three times!!! :rawk:
