Pretty much true. The differences are clearly spelled out in a table in the service manual....available for download here. Don't know if that section is part of it though.

Should be a cheap upgrade! Don't know if most would feel much difference in performance, but for those that want that little extra! I say go for and report back if they can feel anything worth the expenditure. Then I might go it! Bet mileage would change a "bit" too.

The subject of air box, exhaust and carb mods has been covered here extensivley.....even down to a detailed "How to" for the carb mods, with pictures. Search a little; I'm sure you can find it.

As for being worth the expendiature.....you're gonna have to read the reports and decide for yourself. Most who have done the whole package seem to think so; some don't.
