Clutch Lever & Idle ?'s

So I'm tinkering with and familiarizing myself with my new '07 gz250 and have a few questions. (Novice Wrencher)

1. I have noticed the clutch lever has some play in it. Meaning if I compare it to the right brake lever in tightness jiggling it up and down etc.. the clutch Lever just feels "slightly" sloppy. Is that normal?

2. I now know how to adjust the idle but am curious as how to determine the optimal idle speed/sound for this bike.

Thanks in advance.

1 - Yes, the clutch lever should have some play in it. No play is no good.
2 - Get a tach, or watch (i.e. listen to) a youtube video with someone idling this bike at the correct rpm of 1300. It is somewhere in this forum too, use the 'search'.
