Highlighting on new messages and on threads w/ new messages

Did something change recently? When I previously logged on to the forum, threads with new messages and the new messages themselves used to be highlighted in a bolder, brighter orange so you could pick them out real quick and easily. Now, for the past few days, the highlighting is gone and you have to search on the right side for the dates of the last posts to pick up something new you never opened before. :??:

Nothing like that changed. Did you change your template? Does the View Unread Posts link up top not work for you?

This morning when I opened this site, the same thing happened again - no highlighting of new messages. Again - friggin computer!! :??: Then when I looked around, I noticed I wasn't logged in. I went to my page, checked on the preferences, and noticed the box to log in each time I visit the site (which was checked ON before), was not checked. So I clicked it to log me on each time I visit the site, and now again, the highlighting is working. I hadn't restarted my computer or did anything different, I guess my computer felt like joking with me and just decided log me out on it's own -- friggin computer!! :twisted:

So, if the highlighting is not working, it may mean you are not logged in as a member of the site.

This will happen occasionally for several reasons. If you run a maintenance or spyware program that deletes cookies, that is the most common cause. Some sites only honor the auto-logon for a month (or some other fixed time); don't think this one does but don't know.

I will "jump on" with the suggestion that you consider using the "view unread posts". It REALLY is fast and easy.
