My apologies, I posted the exact price of a new starter.

My offer on the starter is set at $120.

This part in the picture. As you can see, mine is pretty scuffed up. I am not sure what that is. A cap of some sort, but the previous owner really didn't take care of this bike that well. I think chrome polish will help me with other parts of the engine, but no that.
Hi Suncross, I'm pretty sure you're circling the Starting Motor. You can't buy this system separately --well, at least you shouldn't (I wouldn't recommend it). Perhaps its time to service your bike, and I would look at your starter. If it needs to be replaced, I have one for sale.

I'll sell you the starter for $350.
So you won't sell the cosmetic parts?
Hi Suncross, I can't sell the "cosmetic parts" to the starter motor. Look online at any OEM parts finder for the part (or in the Parts Manual pdf for download, available on this website) and the diagram clearly shows the piece your looking for as a part of a whole, and not a separate piece. You could do some in depth research to find the specific piece you need, but I don't think you'll have any luck.
Even the starter rebuild kit for the 31100-38300-H17 starter motor doesnt have that specific part. A new starter costs $350.

I'll offer the entire starter to you for $120+shipping.
