New GZ owner, new in forum -neutral problem fixing

Hi
my name is Eran in I live in Tel Aviv Israel .
I've a 1999 GZ250 which been totally rebuild (by the previous owner)
I have my bike for a week and love every moment I ride it.
one thing bothered me is neutral finding...after deep brain storming ,I found
a big play in the gear shifter (between the shifter and pivot) , today I have disassembled the shifter and inserted small and thin plastic film into the
shifter hole ( plastic shits sits between the shifter and the pivot), put some bearings grease and assembled the shifter back on the
pivot.
now I don't have any play on my gear shifter , I've made test ride and found
huge improvement in my gear selection -neutral is much easier to find
no more "false neutral" , smooth transition from 1st to 2nd gear.

highly recommend !

regards
Eran
