Another Orlando Newbie

I recently bought a 2003 GZ 250 with 5,100 miles on it for $1,000. It looks good and has no real problems; just needs a new rear tire (I'll probably replace both) and one of the bar ends is bent so I'll replace those eventually.

I'm just getting back into riding. I grew up riding dirt bikes and I had some very limited street bike experience but I've been away from motorcylcing for about 15 years.

I'm very happy with the bike. I don't plan to do any mods to the bike other than maybe a lower set of handlebars. I do plan on installing a trunk and possibly saddlebags. I'm also shopping around for a better helmet, jacket, gloves, boots, rain gear, and maybe a tank bag. I'm not very mechanically inclined but I'm planning on learning how to do my own maintenance on this bike so I'll be checking this site a lot for all kinds of info.

Thanks to all on this site for providing such a great resource!

Sam
