10000 miles

Well, today I clocked 10,000 miles on my GZ.

Bought it with about 2350 miles on it in May of 2010. Spent about a month practicing u-turns in the parking lot at work. Passed my road test in June and became fully licensed.
Ran it all up and down the Fraser Valley over the summer and fall and put her away for 5 months, out of the winter rains.
Then March 2011 came and I couldn't wait any longer so I hit the road and ventured into Washington State, up a volcano, down to the Pacific Ocean, up past Hope to Hell's Gate, and over every twisty road between Chilliwack and White Rock.
Before I knew it I had logged 10,000 miles.
I guess time, and miles, fly when you're having fun.

Cheers!

10,000 miles ? Is your bike an American model ? Doesn't matter if it is kms or miles, you did a fair bit of riding.

Re: 10000 miles

It's Canadian, but there's only 4 active Canadians (and Alan) who would know what a kilometer looks like, and it's the end of my riding season, and 10,000 is a nice big round number so I thought it made a pretty decent milestone.

At 10,000 miles the bike is nicely broke in.

I recently turned over 10,000 too - nice to see all the dials on the speedo with something to show other that zeros
