5th_bike, how do you mount it and connect it, that it shows the revs? Is it accurate? I'm really fun of these kind of gadgets...

At the bottom of the tach is a flat piece of metal that sticks out, it has a hole, and it is held by the same bolt that holds the right turn signal

red wire to +12VDC at the horn (the green/yellow wire=+12VDC)
black wire to ground (0VDC)
green wire to the ignition, low voltage side. It's under the tank and I put it there more than 3 years ago, I think it was a white wire that it connects to - not to the spark plug cable.

It has two more wires, attached to a little light bulb that goes in a hole in the bottom, but I did not mount those because at night I don't want to look at it anyway.
