Re: Pics of Lynda's M-50.

Thank you so very much. Really gonna have to rent somebody's kid to do this for me. Some things just evade my thought process and lead to nowhere. I once even had no results trying to start a fire with gas and a match.

Children are great. My daughter just taught me how to text using T9.

I always have to find a teenager to reset my watch for daylight savings time!

Great pictures and the bikes look wonderful. What a great place to ride judging by the background in the photos. Thanks for posting these!

Re: Pics of Lynda's M-50.

Thanks for the comments. Lynda is very proud and happy with her new ride. I put on 15 or so add -ons to complete the bike to her comfort, the most effective was a set of different handlebars to shorten the reach to the grips. The "M" picks up where the GZ stops. Mainly lots more power and a much better ride. While the GZ was a perfect fit from day #1 this one needs a little time and travel to be comfy with some possible seat work or adjustment. The 805 cc V-twin has a real nice mellow exhaust that will never be changed out for the sake of noise and here I am attitude. That will make Easy Rider smile.
As for the area will generally ride in, it is more than just nice to look at. The West Coast has fresh air, mountains, lakes, decent roads and the general motoring public sees enough bikes to normally recognize them as a real mode of transportation.

Re: Pics of Lynda's M-50.

Hi, there.
Looks great bike and couple...
M-50 seems pretty big one, compare to your V-Storm???
I actually want to see your V-Storm too, ha ha ha.
How is the Givi bags on the V-Storm?
I saw a messge from othe forum that Givi bag has warning sticker with high speed (over 60???).
But many other said that no problem on the 100 mph, ha ha ha.

Last weekend, I did some DIY saddle bag mount for my new bike.
If you interested in, here is the link of pictures.

Let me create another thread and put some slide show on it.
Thanks

Re: Pics of Lynda's M-50.

Yes the M-50 is pretty big looking but the Vstrom is still taller. As for the cases on the Vstrom they are made by Shad and a little cheaper than Givi, with a bit less quality included. The speed warnings on cases are a way to reduce law-suits. A lot of weight in the bags and some added speed can upset the aerodynamics which can/will cause a high speed wobble. That can be a painful lesson.
