My knowledge on brakes is limited, so tell me to shut it if I'm wrong. When you're installing brake pads, isn't there a pad cleaner you're supposed to wipe or spray on before you seat them to the rotor? I distinctly remember doing this on a couple of my cars years back, although it could have been a marketing job selling it to me, along with that headlight fluid.

PS: Don't buy headlight fluid...it's really just water and a little vinegar.

I always thought "headlight fluid" was just one of those fake products, like "blinker fluid" or the "clutch belt" or "elbow grease".

Guess you've been lucky. I think most GZs have a slight squeal in the front......as do several other Zuki models.......caused by the brand of shoes used. The replacement shoes that Bob uses used to solve that problem; now they are doing it too.

The pads are new.

There is no malfunction.

The squeal is fixed on both of them.

I have photos and will post them as soon as I have time.
