Last Ride With The GZ

The Faithful Little GZ went to it's new home today. Lynda rode the bike for the last time. The new owner(Doris)looked real happy with the bike and we are sure she will have fun getting to know her bike and the grin factor that keeps growing. Here's hoping the weather is good enough to bring the new bike home next week. Even a short but wet and cold ride would not be to Lynda's liking. In the mean time we are ordering the add-ons for the M-50 and then I get to play magician again.

I don't plan to abandon the GZ forum and it's members. This is an interesting place to visit and I am hoping to see Doris show up here in the future too. A new rider is always a treat and she has been forewarned about some of our special/slightly deranged personalities. lol.

Sorry to see it go, but maybe it'll find a happy new home. Good luck with the new bike, let us know how you and Lynda like it.

I am sure Lynda will log on and tell everyone about her new ride. I will be sure to log on and tell you how much fun it is putting stuff on a new bike. The plan is to get everything in a pile and make a plan for installation of said items.

Oh, I saw the M-50 at the Cleveland Motorcycle Show last month. I sat on it for quite some time - sharp lookin' bike. Enjoy!

Re: Last Ride With The GZ

The M is home as of last Saturday. The local Yamaha dealer installed crash bars before it ever left the shop after we unloaded it. And Lynda was gone like a shot. She probably wouldn't have come home if it wasn't so cold but she did get a few miles in the saddle. Today I installed a drivers backrest and a windshield is also coming soon. The hard part will be electrical stuff and where to put all the switches and wiring. But that will come later when it is warmer and I get ambitious.
