I agree that they look pretty good, but I'd be concerned with night time visibility.

you might want to add a second pair.

double the flavor, double the fun.

They actually light up pretty good and since I am still a new rider, night riding is not something I am ready to do yet. I have decided to start with baby steps. For now it is just short day trips until my experience/confidence builds up.

I wouldnt worry about the night riding, it would be daytime riding. Smaller lenses (no matter how bright) and cagers will not see you. I havent changed anything on my bikes and if I do, it will be bigger not smaller. I'd rather be safe than cool. Are those white lenses or amber lenses in the new setup? If not amber, are they legal? If they are not legal, and you are in an accident; insurance companies will balk (they like to find any reason not to pay) at reimbursement.

I guess you have a good point again this is my inexperience showing. The lenses are clear but have amber leds.

What leads you to believe that they might NOT be legal?
I think it is a myth that clear lenses are not legal some places.
The applicable laws talk about the color of the LIGHT; it doesn't care how you produce it.

A few years ago, when I first took my motorcycle exam, I was riding illegal turn signals up front and examiner didn't even notice.

By illegal, they were technically too close to the body of the bike and couldn't be seen from far away.

Anyway, if the person who is supposed to check on this type of stuff doesn't notice when something is "illegal" I doubt anyone else will.

I didn't know there was anything to say how close or far the turnsignals need to be. It makes sense on the front, it the turnsignals are too close you won't be able to see them over the headlight beam, as for the rear I may have to check mine and see. I may want to space them out.

Don't get freaked out. Like I said, I would worry more about people seeing those little blinkies at night than I would about getting a ticket for them being too small.

You may want to try something a little more like this:

This way you have good looks and a little more fucntionality than you do with the tiny LEDs.
