Re: Crazy looking futuristic bikes

It could be the other way around - the tubular trellis frame has been used by Ducati for more than 30 years now.
The Suzuki SV650 uses it as well.

And here I thought I was so smart only to be corrected again. Shows you how much I really pay attention to motorcycle design. I was actually looking at an SV yesterday too. The owner/rider (Murray)raced bikes for 20 years and chose the SV as a daily rider. He said the true sport bikes are really too fast for the public streets and not nearly as much fun overall. After changing the suspension on both ends and tweaking the riding position a little he can regularly hunt down most sport bikes in the twisties. Straight lines are a no contest against a sport bike but he loves to pass them in curves.

Re: Crazy looking futuristic bikes

Ducatis may be crazy looking and futuristic but they are nice bikes for sure.

Not exactly ATGATT but I have seen less on a gal riding a H-D. Her half helmet covered more of her body than her bikini and footwear.

That orange unicycle actually isn't. Is it a bicycle? Here's another pic from a different angle. Now it's really totally friggin weird.

Re: Crazy looking futuristic bikes

Don't know why but the movie with Stalone as Judge Dread popped into my mind. Rather have a donut than 5 points.
