Cold Ride to Work This Morning

29 Degrees with wind gusts up to 22 MPH. Sure do wish I knew where I put my glove liners.

I wasn't toasty but I was not any where near freezing. Toes and fingers were a bit cold. Better boots and gloves would fix that, My Icon helmet fogs like crazy so I have to ride with it partially open so my face gets a little chilly.

Leather might work better at this temperature.

You should look into Scorpion helmets. They have anti fog shields that work excellent. Ive never had mine fog up .. rain/cold.... you name it. Nothing fogs these things up.

Brrr, 29 degrees, screw that lol.

I have a Zeus modular helmet that has very little problem with fogging. The Icon fogs due to a lack of air flow which also causes my glasses to fog. The thing I like about the Icon is that it is quiet. It is almost completely smooth on the out side so there is little wind roar. The Zeus helmet makes lots of noise but its very comfortable and gets much better air flow.

Coming home yesterday seemed colder but I don't know what the temperature was. It was almost sundown.

One of the reasons I ride in the cold is to test and get experience with my gear. I'd much rather find out something doesn't work good on a ten mile ride to work than discover this 300 miles form home on a road trip.
