2000 GZ Paint colors

Well heres a question for yall. Ive seen GZs that are red, blue, silver, and black, but I have a 2000 GZ250 with green paint. Ive searched on the net and haven't found any others with green. Is there anyone out there with another green gz, and if so can you tell me the type of green. There are some scratches on the fender that could use some touch up. If not I may break out my painting gear and try painting it when it gets warmer.

I've seen several Green Gz's. It's a dark metallic green, right?
It's out there. If you just need touchup paint, I'd ask the dealer for an original match.

Re: 2000 GZ Paint colors

hey, mine is green - i've been searching for a matching helmet for several years. I have one (bought in 2000 when my bike was new), but it's full face. I want a green open face helmet without having to pay for custom painting. anybody know where to get one?

A "paintable" helmet, plus a can of spray paint & a roll of masking tape, an old newspaper, half an hour of your time, & "Hey Presto" :2tup:

I'm assuming you can find a close match in your local paint store!

Re: 2000 GZ Paint colors

Hi Mcintyre Aerospace,

I bought my 2000 GZ last Saturday on June 20th. It is exactly the color of yours. My friend who knows colors calls that color a 'teal green.' I really like the color, and look forward to seeing how others like it.
