Anything we can do to make ourselves more visible! Very nice job - bike looks great.

Trip info...

How far do you usually travel on average and at what speed? You look like you put some miles on the bike with the add-ons...

Re: Silver 2006 Suzi Suzuki

Wow, old thread but a good one. The bags were from Gears, made in Canada. They were not as good a quality as we hoped but they did manage over 3000 miles in 3 weeks before splitting a couple seams. Decked out with the shield, bags and trunk the GZ was very happy rolling along at 60 MPH or slightly more. That seems to be a sweet spot for this particular bike. Lynda was enjoying the ride across the prairies but we really were happy to get back into mountains and a few curves. The bike has since found a new home and is making a Mom of 3 very happy. As a small touring bike the GZ filled it's duties everyday with no complaints and proved excellant in reliability.

Thank you. Lynda just fell in love with it first time we saw it. Nice and clean sitting in the sunshine. The raised emblem on the tank adds to the overall appearance too.

My handbook says that the European, & the Canadian, specs are the same. My European one has the big, raised, oval, "marauder" logo on the tank, & "suzuki" stickers on the side panels. Doesn't yours have this, or does the spec differ on these points? I've noticed that the American ones have the suzuki "S" on the tank, & gz250 on the side panels.

EDIT :- I've just gone back & looked at the pictures. Your bike seems to have the same logos as mine - so when you mention the tank logos, do you mean on yours or bgirl's? I think I'm just getting a bit confused. (old age creeping up on me!)
