Hello from central Ohio

Hello all,
With this forum I now have a dedicated forum for all of my bikes! I look forward to being a part of this community. I must confess that my GZ is actually only half mine, with the other half being my mothers. We bought the bike together so that we could go riding together and so that my mom could get back into motorcycling with a easy to control motorcycle. We choose the GZ due to its comfort over the Rebel (I am 6'2'') and its price difference over the Virago 250. But honestly I jump on the GZ all the time I love riding it around town, I save the cross country trips for my Virago 750. Between the two of us, mostly my mom, we have logged about 2400 problem free miles on the GZ in the past year. Now I got to go watch my Buckeyes take on USC.

Hope the second half is kinder to you... or maybe it's a good time for a ride after all.

Well that game was painful, I was expecting a loss but not that bad of one.

Re: Hello from central Ohio

Well, the holding call was the usual suspect officiating to me (funny how those only seem to get called on long yardage or scoring plays)(and my wife is a big USC fan,) but I think the interception is what really hurt. I'm no football expert, but you gotta get on USC early. They are typically very difficult to deal with if they go into the second half with a decent lead. They are very fast and once they throw caution to the wind, it wears out the secondary. If they had not taken away that Buckeye touchdown it might have been more of a game. We sort of have become accustomed to USC winning out here, but I wouldn't have predicted anything this lopsided.

Welcome to the forum. I have to warn you though. Since your GZ is only half yours you'll have to have your mom sign up too otherwise you'll only be half a member.

LOL I doubt she would have any interest. She just makes me do all the work on the bike and then rides off worry free.
