Newbie from Seattle
Hey there. Got my bike a couple weeks ago, and mainly registered for this so I can get help when I'll need it. I'm planning on doing most of the repairs myself. Started off well and have to replace the gasket already. The oil's leaking and getting on the exhaust. Good to have people I can ask about this stuff handy!

Re: Newbie from Seattle
Gillasor,
You came to the right place. I got my GZ, my first bike, less than 6 months ago and unfortunately I am in the middle of an engine rebuild. The great thing is that I have been able to get all the help I've needed to do all of the work myself from this forum. A lot of very intelligent, very experienced, and very helpful people here. I know you'll appreciate all the great resources here. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Re: Newbie from Seattle
I bet Seattle is a beautiful place to ride. I was stationed there for a couple of years on te USS Abraham Lincoln. This was pre bike but I can imagine it would be some great riding.

Hey gillasor000, another Seattle GZ250 owner here. Thought I would say what's up. if you feel like talking shop or helping each other out, shoot me a message. It's been great weather for riding around here. Take it easy.
