It told me that I had exceeded my allowed log in attempts. And this was on my first attempt, & I also use auto log-in. And again, the numbers/figures in the box were so illegible that I had to try four times before I got it right. I just assumed that someone had used my name, & was trying to find my password (although I don't know why anyone would want to do that) but if it's happened to you, there must be a glitch in the system. Ah well........ SNAFU

Purged the session cache and raised the number of allowed logins.
