That is the reserve filter.
The long one is the main filter.

Thats what I thought, but looking at the size of the petcock valve the short stack (reserve) seems like it would leave a lot of inaccessible fuel in the tank?

Nah it doesn't leave that much fuel in the tank. maybe a mile's worth haha

That's wierd... but yeah $27 shipping so $122 total and it'll take 6-7 business days to get there. UPS wanted $65 for ground shipping haha. USPS wins! Then I'll also order you new bolts that hold the petcock in the tank and get those shipped to your house since I threw mine away
