Re: TU250

Music man - thanks for accepting me and my oddball gz :retard:

I figured after reading a bit on the forum that the similarities are pretty ridiculous...I'm just better lookin' :neener:

I've learned a lot from the forum :rawk:

Ooh yeah I saw one of those at the dealership the other day. Very retro-cool!

Re: TU250

I wish the GZ had the fuel injection. The carb/choke/idle seems to be a common source of sporadic irritation on an otherwise cleanly engineered entry level bike. I'm curious how the lower profile front wheel would deal with California Concrete at 70 mph.

Re: TU250

at 70 the bike vibrates a bit. but to understand this you have to know Seattle roads...they suck! i've had it pretty fast on 'normal' roads and they ride well. i would like to upgrade to a wider tire maybe when these wear out.

Re: TU250

The GZ windshield, from what I remember, is basically just a universal shield. Most of the "Suzuki" branded stuff for the GZ is just adapted universal stuff, except for the saddle bag brackets.

The windshield should fit, as long as your bike has exposed handlebars.

Re: TU250

The only problem is the Suzuki windshield is a small expensive piece of shit.

There are a lot better made and cheaper windshields available. Search the site. We've beaten this horse before.

Re: TU250

New poster here. Not a GZ250 owner but a new TU250 owner. I bought the TU250 to turn it into a cafe racer. Below are pics of my little TU cafe racer. I know it will never be a true racer but I love the look of the bike. I hope you all like it as well.

Thanks
