Laguna Beach and Temecula

Had a company event in Laguna Beach and afterwards, was invited to the new home of one of my partners. Rode the Strat to LB and back (it was a four day thing) and then went to Temecula. Ride to Temecula was windy (33 mph winds, gusting to 45), but manageable on the heavy bike. Left lane traffic to Temecula was moving surprisingly fast. Most of the ride was at 80 plus, some stretches at 90 and a few sprints at over 100. You can definitely feel the difference in the wind/road/bike/engine at 100 vs 80. At 100 there's a lot more wind buffet and you can feel the v-Twin is working a lot harder - there's a little vibration coming up through the floorboards and the seat. Pretty exhilarating though!

Here's a few pics I snapped with my iPhone:

Nice shots. Makes me homesick for SoCal!

Possibly. The house is ginormous and it's just three people. 15 foot ceilings, 10 foot doors. 8 acres. 6300 square feet. Had a bit of The Shining feel to touring it. Perhaps you could be the caretaker?

Sounds like a job. I much prefer sleeping in and riding when I want.
