I must be projecting a nerd wanna-be image. I have heard of Magic (uses cards, right?) but never played, don't know how and, based on the demographic, not interested. I did eat lot of pizza back in college, mainly owing to being too baked to get anything other than delivered munchies. Kind of got sick of it, but still occasionally partake. Don't drink Surge, but I am a major caffeine junkie. The wife grinds the beans fresh and cooks me up the sauce in a French Press. I am familiar with the original Star Trek Series, and I've seen most of the movies, but I'm far from a Trekkie.

I'm sort of nerd lite. I have the look, I'm in the IT industry, but I don't have the programming chops, don't play video games, no interest in RPG/D&D. I have been to a few anime conventions with my daughter, but I mostly enjoyed the girls dressed up in the risque outfits. I'm kind of an exec now, but not really.

BTW, when I went to college, we only had one computer for the entire university of 30,000 students and you wrote programs on punch cards. And there was no fu*king Surge either! (we did have Star Trek, tho.) Beam me up, Scotty!

However, I have a buddy here in real life that is so nerdified that when I tried to get him into Kick-boxing and he got tired, he sat down in the floor and did some crazy Japanese Anime/Yoga/Ninja/Robotron breathing technique that involved closed eyes & clasped hands moving up and down and back and up. Is that some nerd sign language for chilling out?

Ok that guy's got me beat. I think he saw that on Naruto. I can't watch that show. They're supposed to be ninjas, but they walk around in the daytime in brightly colored clothes casting spells and summoning monsters. I've never known any real ninjas to do that. They strike from the shadows, and dissapear in to the night.

And I rode it about 120 miles down to my home town, in like 20 degree weather I might add. It handled very well, wasn't real heavy, not super powerful but plenty of highway power, pretty comfy. I rode it around my hometown all of that weekend after I got there, and was very sad when I had to go back to the GZ. Not that I don't like my bike but it ain't near as nice as that ride was. One other nice feature it only cost around 6K.

Hey Music Man, Saw a 600 VLX for $3500 at Richards Honda today. Think it had 6000 miles and was an 05. Could be wrong on year.
