I have to engine out of my bike and need help!

According to the repair manual, I have to rotate the crankshaft and align the "T" line on the generator rotor with the mark on the generator cover. So i did do that, when I took of the cylinder head it says to lock the push rod (i did this too) and then take out the tension adjuster(I did this). After that it says to take off the camshaft end cap(which I did) then it says to take offf the camshaft sprocket bolts. but according to the picture in the manual and from what i see on my bike, I cant take off the bolts because my camshaft is not where it is suppose to be. So i put the adjuster back on and i turned the crankshaft more to align the camshaft where i need it to be, but thats not where the mark is on the generator roter. I dont know if it will make a difference in timing or not but I dont want to mess it up. the page in the survice manual is 3-9, and i downloaded it from this website. here is a picture of what im talking about.

Make sure you're not 180 off.

Its fine just make sure that once you have taken off the bolts you crank it back to the T mark. I had to do the same thing and everything is fine. Just try to keep it lined up when you go to take off the camshaft. Happy tooling. :rawk:
