Gonna take a nice slow trip home today.

I finished the Spring Semester at school Tuesday evening, took yesterday and repainted my daughters hallway bathroom and today I enjoyed a lazy morning cleaning up my room and doing laundry. Now I'm heading back home, but I think I'll get off of I-75 most of the way and enjoy some back roads and a little scenery for a change. There are Indian Mounds up around Calhoun that I've never seen and I may swing thru Tunnel Hill where my wife's grandmother grew up. Tunnel Hill boasts a population of about 1200 people, might be that many cows too. Might even swing over to highway 27 and come up through Lafeyette. (Local pronunciation: Luh-fet. Think; Luh (duh) and fet (vet). Yeah, sometimes we southerners can massacre words as badly as people from Basstin (Boston).

Oh, yeah, somebody go out and get a picture near a bowling alley and post a new tag in tag-o-rama please.

It was a nice trip. Never did find those Indian mounds though.

Too bad. I think it's call the New Echota Historic Site, just north of Calhoun. I remember seeing a sign for it last time I was through there.

I've seen signs from I-75, but from 41, I never saw anything telling me where to go, I guess I'll have to try it from the Interstate some day.
