the setting for this SHOULD NOT APPLY TO SEARCHES and should never apply when one has clicked on a "found" post. I have had to change my setting to display ALL posts, otherwise, most of the time when I search the posts, the board refuses to display the ones it finds.

I don't think this is an easily changed function.
