that article is LONG. but very interesting. and yes, i'm going to make fun of my friend's snell helmet now, especially since he already tried to make me feel dumb because mine's just DOT.

I just bought the AGV Miglia Modular Helmet. I like the way it look, I like the way it felt. Works great with my prescription glasses. Has GREAT ventilation. I will get a tinted lens for it later.

Just a reminder guys an gals. Check the date of manufacture of your helmet. The rule of thumb is five years old and dispose of it. The material will break down in time and possibly let you down when you need it most. If you see a helmet you like and want to buy check the date under the lining. A 1 year old helmet is only worth 80% of it's original price. 2 years old and only worth 60% of original price.

I already knew about the dates when I bought mine. Mine was made 01/2008.
