Files 1 & 2 are the 230 page service manual for your gz250! This is the FULL service manual that came from the dealer. Covers EVERYTHING you could want on your gz250 from teardown to maintenance. What an awesome book! File #3 Is the Suzuki GZ250 Owners manual for all years GZ250. Another book you cannot be without for your GZ. File #4 is a 52 page parts breakdown, complete with part numbers.  Error in manual about cam chain tension adjuster, I think.
On page 45 it says to "Remove the rubber cap and then turn the slotted end of cam chain tension adjuster...in the CLOCKWISE direction. I did that, and it just tightened the spring and when I let go it recoiled. I turned it COUNTER CLOCKWISE, and it seemed to "lock the push rod". Anyone else agree on this???

Have'nt been that far into mine, YET. I do remember reading something about it though that just did'nt make sense to me, like it was telling you to do the reverse of what you really needed to do.

When i did my engine work i did it just like it says to and it worked just fine for me.
