For anyone who wants to pick up a new jacket at a closeout price. Check New Enough. This time of year they are clearing a lot of stock to make room for new stock.

Not even sure how I ended up over here, but since I did, thought I would mention that I picked up an awesome Frank Thomas XTi waterproof jacket for "winter" riding for over half off at Cycle Gear. I'm not sure if they have one where all of you live, but if so, it might be worth checking out their clearance stuff (you can look online too I guess). I bought the jacket during the summertime, and I think that's why I got it so cheap (paid $129.99, sold originally for $299.99). That, and the fact that they are coming out with the XTiII line now.

I am thinking that now might be a good time to look for summer riding gear, eh? This is not a spam type deal, I am just throwing my own opinion out, but I really like the Frank Thomas stuff I have bought (the textiles anyway - haven't tried the leather). I had never even heard of the company (they are out of England I think) before I went to the Cycle Gear here in Phoenix, but a guy working there liked them a lot and said I should take a look. I'm glad I did, too.

Anyway, just a suggestion all. I am loving that cold weather jacket I bought, now that it is a bone-shivering 60 degrees here in the mornings - BRRRRRrrrrrr!!!!

PS - it came with an removable inner liner for REALLY cold weather - not sure if I will ever actually use that or not!
