I'm Joe from Toronto Canada. I just picked up my 2005 GZ250 last night and can't wait to get riding. Hopefully I will get some in before the first snow fall which is usually in late December :)

Winter here is 32 in the morning and 60 by noon - that lasts about 3 weeks :2tup:

Hey guys!!! Thank you for the warm welcome to the forum!!!! The weather here has been ok, so I've done quite a bit of riding and must say, I Love this little bike. It's so comfortable for city riding and feels so much better than my friend's CBR125R (Feels like a mountain bike with a teeny motor attached to it). Alas, the weather is getting colder so I am in the process of winterizing this bad boy. So far I've just put fuel stabilizer in the tank. Anything else I should do?

Oh and I should add, that is the regular pipe. Just the angle of the photo makes it look straight. Right now the bike is BONE STOCK. I have painted the speedo housing and light bucket black to make her look a little meaner. I just left the chrome trim on both of them for a nice contrast. Scuffed the chrome plastic housing with 400 grit sand paper, 3 coats of bumper paint and 3 coats of clear. Will post picks when I put them all back on :)

I do plan on turning her into a bobber but all my friends are saying I won't have a place to pick up girls....... I tell them, I never do anyway :S

Hahaha, thats funny. Well, make sure your gas tank is full with gas when you add the fuel stabalizer. Also you can wash your bike and motor, maybe clean the chain with some kerosene, then lube the chain, you can lube your cables and pivot points and or anything else that can move or twist or turn, (so to speak) like the gear lever and even the brake lever, etc. Maybe an oil change too. Have a battery tender for the battery. You get the idea. I may be forgeting some stuff, but someone else will chime in soon. I hate the winter months.

Actually you want to put the fuel stabilizer in first and then fill the tank so it mixes. All the rest I would recommend.
