Hi, I just got my new 2006 GZ250 yesterday. I am very excited and somewhat nervous. I had never ridden a motorcycle before when I took the MSF class 2 weeks ago, but I didn't pass. I just got so nervous on the skills test and i totally bombed the U-turn. I knew i wasn't ready to be out on the road yet or ready for the test. So now i'm trying to get ready to try it again. I was practicing on a friend's bike and now i have my own and I know that I have a lot more confidence than I did in the class. They kept telling me to go faster and the leaning into the bike was making me nervous. But i'm doing those things better now. I missed it by one point.

So, anyway, anyone else from the NW?

Hi Laura. Good to have another GZ fan in the forum. We are located a nice ride away in the GWN. Keep up the practice and expand your skills. The GZ is a really forgiving bike to learn on and a hoot after you get the hang of riding.
