Tried the hair dryer/WD-40 combination myself and worked like charm on the side stickers. The big warning label on the tank didn't work out so smooth. Plus I wasn't too keen on heating up the gas tank. That one took a bit of time. Problem is once you start you can't really stop without it lookin like crap.
