Wiz, try the Shell again as an experiment. I doubt it was the gas and might have been a temporary hiccup with the car. Or you might not have tightened the gas cap properly which will give you a check engine light. Any of the gas products, Shell, Chevron or petrocan should work well in the car. They are all top tier gas.
