It's been so long since I quit smoking anything, I guess I didn't really see the distinction: Smoke Shop - Cigar Store - Tobacconist: all the same to me. Whatever tobacco specialty oriented store you find would be consistent with my original intent. No head shops, though, or corner news stands that happen to sell a lot of cigarettes and stuff.
This brings up an interesting point, though. I don't recall it being covered in the rules. Who is, in case of contention, ultimately the arbiter of whether a tag qualifies or not? Is it the originator of the game, or the originator of the tag? Most of the time I think we'd tend to take a liberal interpretation just to keep it fun and in good spirits. Maybe it'll never be an issue.
As an example, the covered bridge that JWR found isn't what I would call a "real" covered bridge. I didn't say anything for a couple of reasons. First, why create hard feelings or try to be a pain? It's supposed to be fun. Apart from that, for all I know, that's what a covered bridge is down South. Please don't misinterpret my using this example: I don't want to start an argument about covered bridges at this point - it's just an example where, had it been a different personality, they might have called it into question. Then what?
Patrick did say in the rules that the objective must be clearly stated, but, as any lawyer knows, no matter how clearly stated something is, it can be interpreted different ways.
