I would imagine that dropping salt water and a few stray fish onto a forest fire is bad form. Also there would be a safety factor involved for the copter and crew.

Yes, if they used salt water,the soil would be so contaminated that nothing would grow afterwards.

Here's the round building, looks like at least 24 sides, but basically round.  And here's the new tag: An airport control tower.
