Thanks, guys.

After looking at (downloaded) manuals briefly, I gave up. I recently tore out my fireplace hearth, surround, and mantle & replaced (slowly, but it DID get finished), and have done a lot of stuff to my house & yard myself (I'm not lazy - and certainly do SOME things myself), but this whole mechanical stuff has me extremely intimidated. I need someone to show me - hands on - the basics. I'm sure, given time, I'll start meeting people in the area to ride with and can hopefully find someone to be my "mentor." At least for the basics. A workshop or class would be nice... I won't give up on the manuals, though. Probably a little mental block going on and making the situation worse. :-)

In the meantime, I've been practicing my motorcycle wave. :-)
