Nice, 5th! I see we live in similar surroundings.
I believe cows are extremely rare, if not extinct, on Tenerife. Perhaps Alan can confirm this?
The clouds are parting around here this week so I may be able to get a shot of our local volcano. :tongue:

Well I was just checking into this, worrying that Alan could not participate due to lack of cows on the volcano - he may have been too ashamed to mention that the island does not have any mailboxes :whistle:

Rest assured, this video indicates that at least one cow exists on Tenerife, and a cute one at that (yes, the cow):

Indeed, all the mailboxes are fastened to the doors, or, like ours, are inside the building. (The postman always rings twice :roll: )

Goats & horses yes. Cows, pigs, sheep - only in the butchers' shops.

In that case, for lack of cows, I figure no one would mind if you would put up any kind of cattle, be it horses, goats or maybe you run across a "vaca".
