A decent sloped driveway, with some runoff area at the end should suffice, especially if you have someone who can give you a bit of a push start.

IIRC, the capacity of the California tank is a bit less than the others. Check the service manual, downloadable on the forum.

Under the circumstances, it might be a good idea to give it a shot of carb. cleaner, just as a vaccine, of sorts. Seafoam is good for that.

Secondly, don't be too disappointed with your mileage...

Very hot will melt through your mechanics gloves in a second, don't ask how I know. In fact, the heat will tranfer all the way into the caliper, caliper mounts, etc, boiling the brake fluid to it's...

Rear fogs are one of those things that should be on cars here in the states, I'll never understand our DOT. My SAAB has one, of course it was delivered without the bulb in place to keep the DOT...
