This is great advice. I have a hi vis vest and white helmet I wear a lot of the time. It really makes a big difference. A lot less cars pull out in front of me when I'm in the hi vis vs my all black...

No rust now but you should have seen it before. Took a lot of hard work to get all the rust removed. There's a couple of places where I'll have to replace some parts because the rust was too deep but...

I found one on a high school sign, the "Bull Dogs". The only problem is I'll have to stop on a freeway on-ramp to get a photo of it. If I'm feeling brave tomorrow I might give it a shot.

Thanks everyone. The bike is a 2001 with 1600 miles on it. I got it with sadlebags and a cover for $1200. It looks brand new. I'm really happy.
