flashing headlights

Does anyone here have a flashing headlight? What are your thoughts about them. I have been noticing a lot of bike around lately with flashing headlights. Mostly on big touring harleys and a few sport bikes but it is real eye catching. Makes others aware.

Flashing Headlights

It's called a "headlight modulator" and your GZ's tiny charging system may not take the additional load. They also really piss people off. That being said, it does increase your visibility.

you can get the one off the jc whitney catalog... install a switch to turn it off at night from radioshack...

the system can handle it easy....

and think... there's a reason you are noticing them... the other day driving withmy wife... there were 2 bikes riding together i only noticed the one with the headlightmodoulator.... the other i didn't notice till they got pretty close...

headlight modulator = good in my book.... i'm even planning on getting a tailight modulator...

visibility = possibly an avoided accident.... that's a +100000000 in my book

Be careful with that. They sell BRAKE light flashers but not for tail light because you are not supposed to be driving with a blinking (red or amber) light that is on all the time.

Flashing Taillights

Flashing taillights are illegal for sure, as are blue dots in Florida.

What a deal. I will buy one for sure! In Indiana it does state in the motorcycle handbook to tap your brakes several times before stopping. This modulator will do it for you!
