Funny. I actually carry the opener in my jacket and (most of the time) can have it open just in time as I approach the driveway.

Very nice! My son got a real kick out of this.

Like Alan C, I also carry an opener in my jacket pocket. I can push the button through the jacket (since it's mesh) and have the door open in time for me to roll into the garage.

I've seen some people clip their remote to their windshield.
